Imagine Your Death!

Imagine yourself after you pass away
Imagine your grave through night and through day

Wishing that you did not do as they say
Wishing that you had got up and had prayed.

Imagine, your family & friends, the day that you died
Imagine all of the tears that they cried

Remember how it felt when your body was tied
Remember how it felt in the grave which you lied.

Imagine the day you’ll be called to account
Imagine the sum to which your life will amount

Think for a moment of the deeds which you mount
Think for a moment how much they will count

What will they say of you when you are dead?
What will they say, what will be said?

Will they speak of all the poor who you fed?
Will they remember all the Quran that you read?

Think not of them, but of Allah almighty, Lord of mankind and jinn
Think of Allah almighty when tempted to sin
Think of the paradise which you will dwell in
Don’t wait till later to think of what might happen

O ALLAH SWT Make the last part of our life the best, make the best of our deeds the last and make our best day the day that we will meet you.

FIRST CREATION OF ALLAH (SWT)

As we open our eyes, we notice a lot of creation of ALLAH SWT (exalted)  around us. On looking at them one may ask “Which of them was created first?” According to Islamic theology, the Answer would be “NONE OF THEM CREATED FIRST” in fact “The Noor Of The Holy Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him)” was created first ,as he, uncovering this secret, made clear to his Beloved companion Shaikh Jabir (May Allah be Pleased with him):  Prophet said– Almighty Allah has created my Noor first and all the creations are derived from my Noor and Myself is From the Noor of Allah    In Fact with the limited wisdom that we have , it is nearly impossible to understand the reality of “NOOR OF ALLAH” Anyway, it at least indicates the closeness of The prophet (peace & blessings be upon him) to Al Mighty Allah .

The Muttaqun is a good final return Paradise

Verily, We did choose them by granting them (a good thing, i.e.) the remembrance of the home [in the Hereafter and they used to make the people remember it, and also they used to invite the people to obey Allah swt and to do good deeds for the Hereafter].

And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best!

And remember Isma’il (Ishmael), Al-Yasa’a (Elisha), and Dhul-Kifl (Isaiah), all are among the best.

This is a Reminder, and verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons – see V.2:2) is a good final return (Paradise),

‘Adn (Edn) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), whose doors will be open for them, [It is said (in Tafsir At-Tabari, Part 23, Page 174) that one can speak to the doors, just one tells it to open and close, and it will open or close as it is ordered].

There is no ilah except Allah

They will say: “Our Lord! Whoever brought this upon us, add to him a double torment in the Fire!”

And they will say: “What is the matter with us that we see not men whom we used to count among the bad ones?”

Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?”

Verily, that is the very truth, the mutual dispute of the people of the Fire!

Say (O Prophet Muhammad SAW): “I am only a warner and there is no Ilah except Allah swt (none has the right to be worshipped but ALLAH SWT) the One, the Irresistible,

Important notes about Qaba / kaba

The Qaba is an ancient stone structure that was built and re-built by Holy Prophets as a house of monotheistic worship. It is located inside the Grand Mosque in Makka, Saudi Arabia.

The building has a mosque built around it, the Masjid al-Haram. Muslims are expected to face the Qaba during prayers, no matter where they are. From any given point in the world, the direction facing the Qaba is called the Qibla.

Since Allah Almighty ordered Ibrahim the father of Ishmael and Isaac peace be upon them to build the Qaba, people called it the House of Almighty Allah, and it became the direction for us to bow down to Almighty Allah in worship:

During the early days of Islam, the Muslims were commanded to bow down to Allah Almighty in the direction of the Farthest Mosque (Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa) in Jerusalem, because it was the Holiest Mosque to worship Allah Almighty in back since it was not defiled with idols.
Allah Almighty then commanded Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to order the Muslims to prostrate to Allah Almighty in the direction of the Qaba in Makka, because it was the House of Allah which was built by Prophet Ibrahim peace be upon him (mentioned also in the Bible), and because after the Muslims liberated Makka in a 10,000 men army (this event was prophesied in the Bible), they cleaned the Qaba from all idols.

To help the Jewish and Christian reader understand the Islamic way of Worship better, I’d like to first present the following from the Bible
Genesis 28:16-18
16 When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it.”
17 He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.”
18 Early the next morning Jacob took the stone he had placed under his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on top of it.
Judges 20:18
18 The Israelites went up to Bethel (the House of GOD in Hebrew) and inquired of God. They said, “Who of us shall go first to fight against the Benjamites?” The LORD replied, “Judah shall go first.”
1 Chronicles 6:47-49
47 the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
48 Their fellow Levites were assigned to all the other duties of the tabernacle, the house of God.
49 But Aaron and his descendants were the ones who presented offerings on the altar of burnt offering and on the altar of incense in connection with all that was done in the Most Holy Place, making atonement for Israel, in accordance with all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
“Behold!  We gave the site, To Ibrahim, of the (Sacred) House (i.e., the Qaba), (Saying):  ‘Associate not anything (In worship) with Me; And sanctify My House For those who compass it round, Or stand up, Or bow, or prostrate themselves (Therein in prayer).  And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways;   (The Holy Quran, 22:26-27)”

As we also clearly see, the House of Allah was mentioned in the Bible first. The Qaba or Kaaba (the black cube building in Saudi Arabia) is basically the symbolic point on earth (His House) that Allah Chose to have all of His True Believers meet Him through bowing down their faces in humility down to the ground before Him.
They are no more holier than the bricks and cement that we see on regular basis now.

While it is true that many ignorant and illiterate Muslims might incline toward idol worship and do consider the actual Qaba as a very sacred thing to a point where they would go as far as rubbing their bodies against it to get “blessings”, but these people are not representing the True picture of Islam.  If a person worships the Kaaba itself, then he/she becomes an idol worshiper:

“*Say: ‘O People of the Book (i.e., Jews and Christians)!    Come to common terms as between us and you:  That we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with Him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah.’  If then they turn back, say ye: ‘Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allah’s Will*).’  (The Holy Quran, 3:64)”

“*God forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up partners with Allah is to devise a sin Most heinous indeed*. (The Holy Quran, 4:48)”

“Who can be better in religion than one who submits his whole self to Allah, does good, and follows the way of Ibrahim the true in Faith? For Allah did take Ibrahim for a friend.  (The Holy Quran, 4:125)”

The Qaba is only the House of ALLAH Almighty and is the meeting place for us to meet the Almighty Allah by bowing down our faces in humility down to the ground before Him in that direction.

ALLAH Almighty Chose that spot on earth to be the meeting place with Him, because It is His Grand Temple.

We Worship Allah Almighty in His House.  We never worship the Temple itself.

There is a difference between knowledge and faith

The worst sin in front of Allah (subhana wa taala) who is worshiping others with Allah
the worst sin is shirk – associating partners with Allah if you die in that state, without having repented, eternity in hellfire awaits.

The following verses from Surah Maryam are an example of verses where Allah (swt) shows His anger and strong displeasure with those who associate a “son” with Allah.

Surah Maryam (verses 88 – 95)

88. And they say: “The Most Gracious (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children).”
89. Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing.
90. Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins,
91. That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Gracious (Allah).
92. But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Gracious (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children).
93. There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Gracious (Allah) as a slave.
94. Verily He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting.
95. And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender).

Reflections from this verse
The verses and the language used in them show Allah’s anger and displeasure with those who associate others with Allah

The verses are a strong reminder of the Day of Judgment from which there is no escape for anyone. On this day the pious believers in the Oneness of Allah will see Allah (swt) as their Most Gracious Benefactor.

The verses emphasize the enormity of the crime of ascribing a son or offspring or daughters to Allah the Most Majestic.

Although Allah (swt) may allow those committing this crime to enjoy the comforts of life, that doesn’t negate the approaching Day of Judgment when the Ultimate Truth will be unveiled.

Allah (swt) asserts that all creatures whether in the Heaven or on earth are His slaves; they return to Him as slaves and He, the All-Knowing, knows each of His creations.

The end of the verses make us aware of our individual accountability for all our actions, which will not be shared or supported by anyone. A false sense of assurance from a group of like-minded people, should not delude us into going against Allah’s Commands with impunity.

Know What Radical Islam And Islamic Fundamentalism Is?

The Holy Quran is the book of guidance from ALLAH (swt) and it has everything in it. It gives the solution to the mankind about their problems. The Holy Quran, Hadith and Fiqh are the sources one must consult in order to practice Islam.
The radical Islam or Islamic fundamentalism is a very confused term. There is vagueness in these terms. Let’s explore the terms.

The literal meaning of Radical Islam is that the version of Islam which is based purely on the Quran and Hadith, same applies to Islamic fundamentalism. Islamic fundamentalism is principally a term that refers to explain religious ideologies seen as promoting a return to the “fundamentals” and basics of Islam and the fundamentals of Islam is the Quran and the Sunnah.
The term is different for Muslims and it is altogether different for the anti Muslims. the Muslims think that Islamic fundamentalism means practicing Islam according to the Quran and Sunnah which includes Quran recitation, Salah(Prayer), Hajj (Pilgrimage) , Zakaat, etc.
The anti Muslims think that Islamic fundamentals are too strict to follow and there are two categories in Muslims, one the hardliners and other the liberals. The hardliners are the ones who are fundamentalists because they “follow the Quran and Hadis”.
The west world doesn’t not promote the “fundamentalists” because they are the ones who threat the west world. in actual Islam is the religion of peace and harmony, Quran recitation tells us that there is no compulsion in religion, as Allah (SWT) says in the Holy Quran : “Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And ALLAH (swt) heareth and knoweth all things”.
